There was an earlier post about the Pikler-triangle, and this rocker/climber is a great addition to that.
The plan was to DIY it. Ok, this was my plan and I tried to get my Partner and Dad excited about the project. Okay, the original idea came from a friend of mine, and it wasn't the one she and her husband made, but the following balance rocker:

Larger DIY projects usually go like this:
- I figure it out
- I convince my Partner (I keep saying it until he takes it seriously that I really want to do this)
- We tell his father, who has a good laugh about it
- His father (the All-doer, who has all kinds of toys (=tools, machines, DIY gadgets)) realizes that we (=I) really meant this, which usually happens when I already bring the wood
- We do it
I got to the point where I started collecting the wood for it, but then...
... this time they could escape because I found a used rocker :)
